GHE Tackling TB Together
What is GHE?
GHE is a registered charity (no. 1146692) based in the UK. GHE works to combat Tuberculosis (TB) mainly through the provision of education.
What does GHE currently do?
GHE has set up and is further developing this website TBFacts.org.
GHE also has some funding available for some TB projects, and up to around £20,000 is available for each project. Each project can either be concerned with education, care or research or a combination of all three.
Initial enquiries about project funding should be made to Annabel Kanabus, Director of GHE, at email@example.com.
The TBFacts website
Nearly 2,000 people access the website each week. The person in charge of the site is Annabel Kanabus. Annabel has previous experience in the development of websites having started and developed the website avert.org, which became the most popular HIV/AIDS website in the world during the time that she worked at the charity AVERT. Annabel has written a history of the AIDS charity AVERT which includes the development of the avert.org site.
The website TBFacts.org was designed and coded, free of charge, by Jeremy Bojczuk of Lab 99 Web Design, based on ideas by Annabel Kanabus. GHE is very grateful to Jeremy for his help.
The best way to contact GHE is by email. Our email address is firstname.lastname@example.org. For enquiries about the TBFacts.org website, please send your enquiry to email@example.com.
Where is GHE based?
GHE is based in the south of England.
GHE’s physical address is:
- Newhouse Farm

Why is the charity called GHE?
The initials GHE stand for Global Health Education. GHE was set up as a charity to improve health through education, particularly in relation to diseases which have a global impact. Currently GHE is concentrating on Tuberculosis, and although its main focus is still health education through the www.tbfacts.org website, through its projects it may undertake other work such as the improvement of care, or a small amount of medical research.
If you would like to support GHE's work, then please send your donation by cheque or money order, to the above address.
